The major attractions close to the centre of Durban are only a scenic half-hour drive away.
Umdloti is a tranquil seaside village located at the mouth of the Mdloti River, north of Durban. It’s hugely popular as a holiday destination and home to a population of about 3 000 permanent residents. It boasts a natural rock pool which creates a safe swimming area ideal for snorkeling. Dolphins swim close to the beach and whales stay in the bay between July and November

November 2025. The perfect beach getaway! Such a wonderful location and a perfect little flat. It has everything you need and the most INCREDIBLE view! Bed was super comfy. Loved everything about it. Host was very responsive and helpful. The lady who came to clean was such an added bonus and she was the sweetest person ever.
